If you are a fundraiser, an event organiser, a sports club manager or know of anyone who is looking to raise funds then Colour of Sport can help achieve those goals. Our experience, huge choice of products and knowledge of our market have successfully helped many organisations raise money through auctions held at a variety of events such as dinner dances, sporting dinners, corporate events and competitions.
Colour of Sport can work with you to maximise your return on auctions of sporting and entertainment memorabilia. We can assist with product choice, or make unique products specifically for your event. Images can be made available for the marketing of the event and then provide help on the night to promote the items to be auctioned, offering the services of an auctioneer if required - all within our risk free fundraising package.
All items supplied on the night (except bespoke items made specifically for you and personalised for the event) are provided on a sale or return basis. There is an agreed minimum reserve on each item and any monies raised above those reserves are 100% those of the fundraiser. There are no hidden charges or costs.
Our offer of providing an auctioneer for the event is all included in the reserve prices of the auction items – all we ask is that you provide our auctioneer with a meal on the evening. If your event is being backed by a celebrity then our auctioneer is happy to work along side your special guest - with two people working the room the results can quite often be spectacular!
Depending on the numbers expected for the event, we can advise on the number of items to be auctioned and whether a silent auction would be appropriate. Silent auctions usually engage with more people but are generally suited to larger turnouts. However, as it is risk free to the fundraiser, this might be chosen for smaller functions.
Last year we helped First Class County Cricket clubs Essex and Gloucestershire raise funds for their youth development programs and this year are supporting some 6 other Counties for the forthcoming 20/20 games. We have helped support events for amateur rugby and boxing clubs raising funds for their own clubs and supported Charities and non-profit making organisations we have helped them raise valuable funds across many events.
All of our memorabilia pieces are uniquely framed due to the originality of the mounting which sets us apart from other suppliers. With this alongside our diverse product range and our ‘no sale no fee policy’ the event organiser can feel free to select the number of products offered without any constraints - except for the time set aside for the auction and the number of people in the room. We can supply items in the range of £100 up to £1,000 and with a good presentation in the room pieces can go for many times their cost to raise many thousands for your desired cause.
