Steve Bacon has been West Ham United's official photographer since he was first offered the post by the then manager, the late John Lyall, in 1980. He has been very much part of the West Ham 'squad', albeit as an unsung hero, accompanying the team through all the highs and lows of the club. Steve has amassed an unrivalled, fascinating catalogue of superb images, capturing the Hammers' history both on and off the field. In 1998 he published his book, “Hammers in Focus - A Photographic History Over Three Decades". With a forward by Sir Trevor Brooking, this book is available once more, and is a treasure trove for Hammers' fans, young and old.
